We are suckers for just about any method that has been passed down from generation to generation. Not only do these old school ways tend to be a lot more successful in the long run — there's a reason why they continue to stand the test of time — but they're often an affordable solution to a common problem.

Take this woman's home irrigation plans. She says that this was the way her mother ensured their garden stayed watered each summer, and based on her picture, it looks like there's a pretty good reason why it's worked year after year!

It would appear that @ccc_watchme's mom knows a think or two about gardening based on her picture, where she shares the irrigation system that was inspired by her mother's traditional system.

She shared several picture about the process, including this one where she finally runs a test to ensure it's working properly, convincing us that maybe it's possible for us to build our own systems, too.
